1941 Gibson L-30, 14" Archtop, Spruce Top, Mahogany Back/Sides - USED

ON CONSIGNMENT, NO TRADE OFFERS PLEASE!

(USED) Who doesn't like a little archtop with a big attitude?  This '40s Gibson has a great vibe, nice resonance and a focused tone with just the right snarl to it.

Spruce top, mahogany back/sides, mahogany neck with pronounced "V" profile.  It's not the chunkiest we've played, but it's a handful.  The nut is 1 11/16" and the string spacing at the saddle is 2 1/8".

Condition is good with a few repaired top cracks, ample dings and scratches, a bit of buckle rash on the back.  The frets are in very good condition and show little wear.  The original tuners have been replaced with Grovers (one mis-matched from the rest of the set) and there is a pickup embedded in the bridge and wired through an output jack where the end pin would be.  Includes non-original case.

AMW Price: $2,495 (Online checkout, on consignment!)
