Eastman E20D Prototype, Adirondack Spruce, AAA-Grade Indian Rosewood - NEW - SOLD

SOLD

(NEW) Here's a special one from Eastman!  We were very fortunate to have them send us a few prototypes recently, and this dreadnought is, we feel, one of the very best that the brand have produced!

Feeling more like a boutique shop guitar than a factory guitar, this E20D was built with the best material in the Eastman shop.  Beautiful wide-grained Adirondack spruce top, AAA-grade Indian rosewood back and sides with delightful color variation from the center to the edges, and a single-piece mahogany neck.  The cosmetics are mostly traditional, but the herringbone trim on the top border and rosette have the addition of mahogany-colored chevrons mixed in with the blacks and whites (much like the purfling used on Bourgeois' "DB Signature" models) not to mention a nice marquetry back strip.  1 3/4" nut, 2 5/32" string spacing at the saddle.  Ivoroid body binding and butt wedge, ebony fingerboard with diamond and square inlays, Ziricote peghead overlay, gold Gotoh SX510 tuners.  Includes high-quality hard case.

A fine, fine guitar by any standard, but a must-have for one Eastman fan!  The quality of sound matches the quality of the materials and craftsmanship, completely.
