Collings SJ Mh, All Mahogany, Glossy Jet Black - NEW

(NEW) Black guitars, you either love 'em or you don't... and we LOVE 'EM!  Especially from a shop like Collings, where the quality of the fit and finish will be as good or better as anything out there, we know that they will always satisfy our dark desires!  Everly's this ain't, though.  This guitar has mahogany for the top, back, sides and neck, and it has a thump-y, chunky goodness that will be it an excellent stage guitar... but not if you don't want to be noticed!

This one has a 1 11/16" nut, 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle and is long 25 1/2" scale.  It is fully bound in tortoise, body neck and peghead, set off by black and white fiber trim on the body, cross-cut ivoroid on the neck and peghead.  It has an ebony fingerboard with Stingray inlays, headstock flourish with "haircut" shape, and Waverly tuners.  In our usual "go bold or go home" style, we asked for a back-painted firestripe pick guard, which really jumps, visually.  

As cool as anything!  Includes original hard case.
