(NEW) We are happy to go to the top of the mountain any day of the week with Collings... and jeez, the air sure is nice up here!  Their current top-of-the-line rosewood OM is this Traditional version, decked out with Adirondack spruce and their signature dark "Style 2" sunburst.  Head-turner?  For sure.  Heavy duty?  Yeah, that too.  This guitar has volume, authority, depth and clarity to rival anything out there. 

Wide-grained Adirondack spruce, Indian rosewood with dark banding.  Long 25 1/2" scale, 1 3/4" nut and 2 5/16" string spacing at the cut-through saddle.  2-Style Traditional models feature the Traditional mod-V neck profile, ebony fingerboard with diamond/square inlays, forward-shifted Sitka spruce braces (no tongue brace) and a small maple bridge plate.  They also use a thinner lacquer finish.  Ivoroid body binding, Waverly tuners, oh, did we mention that sunburst? 

The build style is slightly lighter than Collings' standard line, and it is obvious from the responsiveness of the guitar.  Very dynamic, responds to the lightest touch.  Not good, great.  Includes TKL hard case.
