(NEW) Just like they did with acoustic guitars, Collings turned the mandolin world on its head by swooping in with a combination of precision, vision, and no small bit of attitude.  The Collings MF is about as good a mandolin as can be had these days, and they aren't always easy to find, let alone in brand new condition like this one!

Traditional sunburst covers an expertly chosen and voiced Adirondack spruce top, finished in gloss.  The maple on this one has a deep flame to it.  The lines are crispy and clean, a Collings trademark, and the whole instrument is bound in ivoroid.  The tuners have ivoroid buttons and the ebony pick guard, made in house, also has that wonderful ivoroid accent.  Compound radius ebony fingerboard with 1 1/8" nut width.  

We had the mind to provide Collings with a handsome gold James tailpiece for this one, and if you hate changing strings, this is gonna change your life!  You can thank us later.  Includes original hard case.
