Collings Eastside LC Deluxe, Custom Sapphire Blue, Broken Glass Inlay - NEW

(NEW) Talk about a head turner!  This extraordinary archtop from Collings is of a rare and wonderful kind, a medium depth, single-cut guitar that is beautifully simple but also impossible to ignore.  We ordered this one some time ago and our eyes popped out of our heads when we saw the custom Sapphire Blue finish, the pictures honestly can't do it justice.  To many this would be the ultimate jazz guitar.  

Weighing in at 5.9 lbs, this instrument features laminated maple construction, with laminates produced and perfected in-house at Collings.  It has a single Lollar Charlie Christian pickup in the neck position.  For cosmetic appointments, it features full body/neck/peghead and f-hole binding, broken glass inlay on the fingerboard and flared peghead, ebony pickguard, bridge and tailpiece.  It has a 1 11/16" nut and short 24 7/8" scale length.  It measures 16" across the lower bout, and the body depth is 2 1/2", thinner than a lot of traditional archtops.  The neck is Collings' electric C profile, dimensions attached in the picture gallery.  Nickel Gotoh tuners with ebony buttons.  Includes hard case.
