(NEW) Here's a D2H with a couple of our favorite cosmetic twists: we stuck with the standard Sitka/Indian rosewood combo for tonewoods, saying "Hold that herringbone!" and opting for rope (half-herringbone) top purfling.  This is paired with tortoise body binding, for a stealthy, low-contrast transition from the sides to the back.

1 3/4" nut width, 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle, long 25 1/2" scale.  PERFECT Sitka spruce over Indian rosewood, mahogany neck w/ Collings' standard mod V profile.  Ebony fingerboard, bridge and pins, diamond/square fingerboard inlay.  Nickel Waverly tuners.  Includes original hard case.

A D2H that's just a little different... with perfect fit/finish all the power and clarity that we expect from a Collings.
