Cirrus Heritage Grande, 0000, Adirondack Spruce, Indian Rosewood - NEW

(NEW) Join us in welcoming Cirrus Guitars to the AMW family!  Cirrus is the brainchild of Mike (MJ) Franks, a Michigan luthier who is highly regarded for his exquisite custom builds.  Franks decided to use all of his experience to develop a line of professional grade, hand-built instruments that, while simply appointed, have all of the tone at a lower price.  In their price range, Cirrus is building us some really intriguing instruments!

This guitar is called the Heritage Grande, but some might recognize it as a jumbo OM, 0000 or mini Jumbo.  It has a 16 1/8" lower bout and full 4 5/8" depth at the tail block, so it's bigger, beefier and badder than your average OM could hope to be.

The Adirondack spruce top has bold winter grain (love!) and the back and sides are a handsome set of Indian rosewood.  Traditional appointments include herringbone top trim, 3-ring rosette and ivoroid body binding.  The mahogany neck has a comfortable shallow C carve.  The short 25" scale length adds more warmth to this already rich sounding guitar.  1 3/4" nut, 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle.  The tuners are open-gear Gotoh.

In a world where truly custom guitars are becoming out of reach for the working musician, Cirrus is showing us that a great one doesn't need to break the bank!  Includes hard case.
