Beard Deco Phonic Sidecar Select, Engelmann Spruce, Mahogany - NEW

(NEW) Beard, known for their stunning reso phonic guitars, has now made a splash in the world of flat tops with their new Deco Phonic series.  In addition to resurrecting the Engelmann/laminated birch models that were discontinued a few years back, Beard now offers a fully solid wood version.  Like the originals, these are very simply appointed, spartan little guitars, impeccably made and possessing a vintage-inspired tone. 

The Sidecar is an L-00 or 00 size, essentially, featuring 14 frets to the body, 1 3/4" nut and 2 1/8" string spacing at the saddle. This guitar has a solid Engelmann top and solid mahogany back and sides, and features flamed maple body binding.  It has a short scale mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard.  It also has ebony bridge and pins.  The headstock features smooth Gotoh 510 tuners, and a TKL hard case is included.
