Baleno Orchestra Model, Adirondack Spruce, Mahogany - NEW

(NEW) Chuck Baleno has never shied away from the idea of updating a classic, and this OM is a perfect example.  While it shares a silhouette with its forebears, the quality and craftsmanship are all Baleno!  

This lightweight orchestra model has a beautiful Adirondack spruce top and mahogany back/sides.  It has rosewood body binding and a three-ring rosette with curly koa accenting the center ring.  It has a compound radius ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge and ebony pins.  Baleno uses hot hide glue on all tone related bracing. 

The nut width is 1 3/4", string spacing at the saddle is 2 1/4" and the guitar has a long 25.34" scale length.  The neck is a comfortable modified V shape, and the frets are stainless steel, standard on Baleno instruments.  In addition to the compensation at the saddle, Baleno also goes the extra mile and compensates the nut, and as a result has some of the best intonating instruments in our store (or in any store!)  As usual, the fit and finish are exceptional.
