(NEW) He's done it again, folks!  Chuck Baleno, a local luthiery hero who can squeeze more juice out of a small-bodied guitar than just about anyone has just delivered this wondrous 00!  An exceptional instrument, top to bottom, you will be surprised and delighted by the fullness of sound emanating from this little box.

It starts with a lovely Adirondack spruce top, which Chuck has paired with a beautiful set of figured Buginga.  For those not familiar with this wood, also known as African Rosewood, it creates a tone that has a lot of depth but also ample clarity.  It's also easy on the eyes!  An inspired choice.  He's dressed the guitar up just enough, with flamed maple binding, abalone rosette and large diamond fingerboard inlays.  

The mahogany neck has a comfortable modified V profile, with 1 3/4" nut and 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle.  The scale is short at 24.9".  Like all Baleno guitars, the ebony fingerboard has a compound radius and the frets are stainless steel.  Intonation is spot-on with compensated nut and saddle.  This guitar has bone pins and Waverly tuners.  

One strum and you'll fall in love, don't say we didn't warn you!  Very special guitar here.
