2023 Collings SoCo Deluxe, Flamed Maple, Mahogany, ThroBaks - USED

(USED) Hey now!  We might have a new frontrunner for classiest guitar in the joint!  This 2023 SoCo Deluxe just arrived at our shop and it's turning its share of heads.  Glorious solid flamed (the flamiest of flames) maple top with Collings' legendary sunburst (this one was a custom order, it's an iced tea burst, but a full-body-burst variant in what we Collings nerds refer to as "shade burst").  The body is solid Honduran mahogany.  The instrument weighs in at 7lbs 2oz.  

Short 24 7/8" scale with Collings' original '59 C neck and 1 11/16" nut. It's full throated voice comes from ThroBak humbuckers (a little more detail and a higher saturation point compared to the standard Lollar Imperials).  Deluxe upgrades include full body/neck/peghead tortoise binding with cross-cut ivoroid purfling.  Ziricote fingerboard with no inlays (don't worry, it has side dots!)  House-made top hat knobs.  Nickel Gotoh tuners with ebony buttons.  One of the most beautiful peghead overlays we've ever seen!

Condition is excellent + on this one with no issues.  Price includes original Ameritage hard case.
