One of the most popular Bourgeois models is his slope-shouldered dread, and this is as nice an example as you’ll find anywhere. This guitar is an excellent strummer or singer/songwriter guitar, but has many a fan in the bluegrass and fingerstyle worlds. The shallow “C” neck profile and its no-drag satin finish is a dream to play. The snake-head peghead means that the string paths are straight over the nut, which is better for tuning stability. 1 23/32″ nut width with 2 1/4″ spacing at the saddle, open-back Waverly tuners with ivoroid buttons. Ivoroid bound body, neck and peghead. 25.5″ scale.
This guitar has no fret wear to speak of, and is basically in showroom condition, immaculate for its age. A great deal on a great instrument from Bourgeois Guitars!
