The Tut Taylor™ Model 27 is a faithful reproduction of the classic pre-war instrument and is hand crafted with reverence to the first classic era of the resonator guitar.  All of The Tut Taylor™ Model 27 s details from its vintage style neck and slotted peghead to the unique parallelogram soundwell and “R” body shape harken back to different time.  Paul Beard’s Tut Taylor™ Model 27 brings all the vintage tone and character with the modern responsiveness and playability that Beard Guitars are known for.

Tut always said that his model 27 was the best dobro he ever played . So in 2014 , Tut contracted with Paul Beard to build a “Tut Taylor ” signature model “TT-27” Resonator Guitar. Tut’s friendship and respect for Paul Beard as a craftsman and his company’s quality craftsmanship led to this wonderful addition to the world of resophonics.
