(USED) Martin OM18 Authentic 1933, Adirondack Spruce, Mahogany – $3,595

(USED) Our favorite Martins being made today are the ones that tip their hats to yesterday, and the lightly-built Authentic series is a great way to experience pre-war Martin magic in a new guitar.  Meticulously crafted to be spec-perfect recreations of some of Martin’s very best designs, these always look and sound superb.

Here is an incredibly clean OM18 Authentic 1933, with sunbursted Adirondack spruce top, Adirondack spruce braces and mahogany back and sides.  It has a period-correct modified “V” neck profile, with a nut width of 1 3/4″ and string spacing at the saddle of just under 2 3/8″, giving fingerpickers ample room to move.  It has an ebony nut, fingerboard and bridge, a bone cut-through saddle, Waverly tuners and a Madrose headplate.

The sound is woody and airy with a delightful “thump” and a very quick response.  This is a loud OM!  Condition is excellent with only one or two faint finish impressions in the top and minimal fret wear under the B string.  Comes with original TKL hardshell case.
