(USED) Bourgeois Slope Shouldered Dreadnought, Adirondack, Mahogany, Sunburst – SOLD

(NEW) Happy to present a modern classic, the Slope D from Bourgeois Guitars.  Dana knows this design well, and we can honestly say that he has improved on the original in many ways.  It still has the slope shouldered thump that we like for strumming and for accompanying the voice, but there is also a lot of sparkle and an even response, everywhere on the neck.

This used example is in excellent condition, with one of two cosmetic blemishes but no cracks, scratches or structural issues of any kind.  It is a full 25.5″ scale, 1 3/4″ nut, 2.2″ string spacing at the saddle.  Adirondack spruce top with Dana’s wonderful dark sunburst, lightly figured mahogany back and sides, fully ivoroid-bound body, neck and peghead.  “Snakehead” peghead shape with Waverly tuners.

In wonderful shape for its age, with a tall saddle and next to no fret wear! 10 years young!
