(USED) Bourgeois JOMC, Jumbo OM, Bearclaw Sitka, Rosewood, Cutaway – SOLD

(USED) A versatile-as-heck original design from our friends at Bourgeois, this 2002 Jumbo OM Cutaway was fastidiously cared for and is just awaiting its next chapter.

Landing in the sweet spot between Orchestra Model and Dreadnought, the JOMC really is a great all around instrument, with enough bottom end to create a rumble when strummed, but impeccably balanced for fingerstyle playing. This particular guitar has a low-action “butter” setup that we feel would be more at home with fingerstyle players or anyone with a thinner pick / lighter touch kind of attack.

Striking bearclaw Sitka spruce on the top and very handsome east Indian rosewood back and sides, fully bound with maple (body, neck and peghead) with the understated elegance of no fingerboard inlay and an abalone rosette. 1 23/32″ nut width, 2 7/32″ string spacing at the saddle, very comfortable low “C” shaped neck. Full 25.4″ scale. Gold Waverly tuners, bone nut, saddle and pins. Comes with a dual source Fishman Ellipse Blend pickup system for impeccable control of stage sound.

There is only slight fretwear under the unwound strings in the first position, and one small ding in the bass side, close to the neck joint. The strap button was originally installed at the side of the heel, filled and moved to the endcap (indentation from old button placement can be seen in our pictures).

Includes original hardshell case.
