(SOLD) Baleno Size 2 Parlor – Brazilian Rosewood, Adirondack Spruce, Abalone Purfling and Torch – SOLD

(NEW) Export, PA’s Chuck Baleno continues to impress us with his guitars – with fit and finish rivaling some top names, and tone to match. Here, we are pleased to present a fancy Size 2 parlor in BRAZILIAN rosewood and Adirondack spruce with a fretboard of Macassar ebony. Don’t let its diminutive stature fool you, the Size 2 has a wonderful and rich voice, owing in no small part to Baleno’s use of AAA grade curly Brazilian Rosewood and Adirondack Spruce, and his careful top voicing process. The 24.5″ scale gives this guitar the size and feel of a true turn-o-the-century parlor guitar, but it also sports some easy-to-miss modern features that put it in league with today’s heavy hitters like Bourgeois and Collings; it has a two-way truss rod, carbon-fiber reinforced neck, HIDE GLUE construction, STAINLESS STEEL frets, a total bolt-on neck joint, and importantly, compensation at both the 1 3/4″ nut and the 2 1/4″ saddle, for near-perfect intonation. Beautiful Abalone top purfling and rosette, peghead torch, maple bindings, Waverly tuners with snakewood buttons, and some impeccably sprayed nitro add up to an absolute STEAL of an American-made, professional grade acoustic guitar.
