(NEW) Baleno Dreadnought, Torrefied Adirondack Top, East Indian Rosewood B/S – $2,895

(NEW) For the money, it’s hard to beat a Baleno guitar. Not only do they sound amazing, the fit and finish on every Baleno instrument is among the best we’ve ever seen, and each guitar is bursting at the seams with features that we usually only see on much more expensive pieces… the man is one of our favorite up and coming builders.

This one is a square-shouldered dreadnought in the Martin tradition, with a torrefied Adirondack spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides. Baleno’s attention to top voicing gives this instrument a sound much more articulate, and a sparkle that we normally don’t hear in EIR dreads. The bass is full, but we wouldn’t call this guitar “boomy” or “tubby”.

As with all Baleno’s guitars, this instrument has a compensated nut and saddle, giving it uncanny intonation all over the fingerboard. You’ll wear out before the stainless steel frets do. The ebony fingerboard has a compound radius and large abalone diamond and square inlays. Nut width is 1 3/4″ and the string spacing at the saddle is 2 1/4″. The tuners are Waverly’s with ivoroid knobs. The body is bound in handsome maple. Includes new Guardian hardshell case.

We are pleased to be the exclusive dealer for Baleno Instruments! Fantastic guitars at a great price, made right here in Western Pennsylvania.

This guitar has had a price drop for slight shop wear, including scuffs on the pick guard and some finish impressions in that general area.  Full warranty still honored by the builder.
