(NEW) Huss & Dalton Road Edition, Mahogany Dreadnought – $2,685

(NEW) A very exciting new model, a reprise of the Huss & Dalton “Road Series” that they offered in a limited run several years ago. We sold our allotment of “Road” guitars very quickly last time, and we assume this time will be no different. The Huss & Dalton “Road” series is a new “no-frills” guitar from this very experienced boutique instrument builder. So, where a high end “Huss” would have ebony parts, this has rosewood. Where you would usually find Waverly tuners, you’ll find Kluson tuners. Where you’d normally see high gloss, you’ll see a satin finish. Notice we did not say “where you might hear..” as if there are compromises in tone, because there are none. This is an East Indian rosewood dreadnought built in the same shop (Staunton, VA) by the same artisans that build the other Huss & Dalton guitars. The nut width is the very comfortable 1 and 23/32″

This is essentially a more cosmetically simple Sitka spruce topped Huss & Dalton mahogany dread that is voiced “just like” their higher priced guitars, but the finish-labor savings and hardware savings allow them to offer this guitar at a low list price of $2,985 – which allows us to set the “street” price at a low, low $2,685. That’s a lot of guitar for the money – a lot of bang for the buck. We welcome you to compare it to any other mid-$2000 range guitar and you will choose this one!

This handcrafted boutique guitar hits the sweet spot. If you’ve played any Huss & Dalton you recognize what a real value that is. These will be available in VERY limited quantities. If you are interested in taking a “Road” trip with the folks from H&D, do not delay…
